Episcopal Church home Foundation
The Episcopal Church Home Foundation, a non-profit charitable corporation, was formed in 1985 to help raise funds in support of Episcopal SeniorLife Communities’ goals:
-
To provide excellent care and customer service
-
To recruit, train, support, recognize, and retain quality staff
-
To promote public awareness
-
To strive for economy and efficiency in operations
-
To innovate to be THE standard of care in Rochester
In addition the Foundation provides, conducts, sponsors and promotes programs and projects beneficial to the community related to the health care of senior citizens.
With these goals in mind, we offer a variety of giving opportunities. Please know that your donation to the Foundation is managed in a highly responsible manner and is eligible for the maximum charitable tax benefits under the IRS regulations.

opportunities for giving
The Supporter’s Campaign: our annual giving campaign, it directly supports programs and services for residents in all of our communities.
United Way Donor-Option: a convenient way to advance our mission, these designated donations support and enhance the quality of life for our residents.
Chapel Memorial Fund: our primary fund for donations in honor or in memory of someone special, it supports the ministry and service of the chaplain to all those in our care.
Resident Quality of Life Fund: a thoughtful way to provide assistance to residents unable to afford the very basics to sustain quality of life: a haircut, sweater, or family greeting card.
Anniversary Garden Fund: this fund was established as an anniversary gift to a prominent board member and his wife on their 50th wedding anniversary by close family and friends. This fund provides for landscaping and seasonal flowers as well as related maintenance at the Mt. Hope Campus. Residents, families, volunteers, guests, and staff thoroughly enjoy the enhancements made from this fund.
Golf Tournament: This annual fundraiser is our major fundraising project, held in early June at Shadow Lake and Shadow Pines Golf Courses. As many as 200 golfers enjoy friendly competition, delicious lunch and barbeque dinner, wonderful prizes, and the satisfaction of helping a good cause. Proceeds benefit all those we serve.
